Wildflowers, as their name suggests, are often observed untamed and surrounded by nature.
Yet due to their positive impact on biodiversity and enchanting appearance, public gardens across the UK have embraced wildflower meadows, carving out a corner for less structured blooms.
If you're wondering which to visit, new research from outdoor living experts White Stores has revealed the best RHS public gardens in the UK with wildflower meadows.
The study analysed 40 gardens listed by the Royal Horticultural Society and compiled their Google ratings, annual rainfall, average temperature and hours of sunlight per year.
The study also looked at the number of facilities and variety of on-site attractions to give each garden a rating out of 100 and crown the top 10.
Unsurprisingly, the South East of England has the UK’s highest concentration of gardens with wildflower meadows, with 17 in total.
Nymans, a renowned Grade II listed National Trust-owned garden near Hayward's Heath, has an overall rating of 87 out of 100, with a 4.7 Google rating from 6,798 reviews.
