There’s been a bit of a rise in Western wear lately, from cowboy boots to embroidered button downs. But as someone who grew up listening to country music and has a grandfather whose nice outfits always included his best cowboy hats, Western wear has always had an appeal to me.
Between the Yellowstone effect and every artist from Beyoncé to Post Malone releasing their own country albums, everyone wants a little taste of the Wild, Wild West. But I'll have you know I spend a lot of weekends at country concerts and have been to my fair share of rodeos where I see what folks are really wearing. And as I’m fresh off the Houston Rodeo, one of the biggest in the world, I’m here to share the best outfit inspo based on what people are actually wearing right now. While some of these pieces are more trendy than others, Western wear is really about sticking to the classics.
