King Charles III stopped by the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this week, and took the opportunity to hunt for new plants for his own garden.
The monarch told Chelsea Flower Show designer Jane Porter that he was in the market for new plants after rabbits had eaten those at Highgrove, his Gloucestershire home.
King Charles stopped by a number of the gardens, and there were a few plants in particular that caught his eye.
"He was really interested in one of the plants we’ve got because at Highgrove something’s being eaten by rabbits and he wants to replace it," Choose Love Garden designer Jane said, according to the Mirror.
She added: "I love that, that’s brilliant, he’s such a keen gardener. I’m sure he would have his eye out for all sorts of things – he was very knowledgeable about everything in the garden."
The King was said to be taken by a lavender sage plant called salvia lavandulifolia on the Choose Love Garden, which features delicate purple flowers.

The Choose Love Garden, designed by Jane, was inspired by refugee migration routes across Europe and features plants that refugees might encounter on those routes. It's described as a reflection of "the relationship between movement and permanence, travel and home."
While Charles searched for a garden solution, his wife Queen Camilla also toured the show and stopped by the London Square Community Garden, where she enjoyed a moment on the garden swing.
