Owning a spa pool is a dream for many but, unfortunately, they’re typically pretty costly. Thankfully, Aldi has done us all a favour and brought back its best-selling inflatable hot tub, so you can turn your garden into a luxurious wellness retreat (well, almost, anyway) for a very reasonable £399. In context, that’s £100 less than a similar option from market leader Lay-Z-Spa and considerably less than a top-of-the-range offering, which can run up to £1,000 plus. A bit of a bargain, then.
Finally available for purchase again on the brand’s website, the hot tub has proven popular, earning itself almost 200 five-star reviews from happy customers. It comes with four headrests, a lockable cover and a carry bag in case you want to take it to a party. A ground cloth to protect the base from gravel and dirt, a filter pump and a chemical dispenser to disinfect the water is also included.
The prospect of a dip in the hot tub is sure to excite any party guests and it also makes a great place to enjoy some quality time with your partner. Taking a soak offers some health benefits, too; helping to improve sleep quality, reduce stress and ease muscle tension.
To spice up your spa setup, add multi-coloured pool lights to give a soft glow to your surroundings and an LED cup holder for after-work drinks.
Ideally, you should deep clean your hot tub every three to four months, so investing in a maintenance kit is also a good idea. Aldi’s offering comes with several chemicals to keep water clean and kill germs, plus a scrubbing pad and brush to tackle any mould or grime and a net for leaves and insects.
Act fast if you’re tempted, though – we expect this hot tub will sell out quickly. You can pick one up here from Aldi’s website.
Now that’s sorted, it’s time to give the rest of your garden some attention. This Kamado egg barbecue, at £399, is much cheaper than the market-leading Big Green Egg (£1.295), so you can experiment with one of these versatile barbecue/grill/oven combos for a fraction of the price. A patio heater will keep you warm during evening gatherings and these deck chairs will turn your drab patio into the perfect spot for an afternoon nap in the sun.
