Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! This Tim Burton classic is arguably one of the best funny scary films of all time. As soon as Michael Keaton's character starts talking, you'll understand why.
In this fiendishly funny horror film, Samara Weaving (daughter of Hugo Weaving, Agent Smith in The Matrix movies) plays a bride fighting for survival against her husband's wacko family.
Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton star in this Freaky Friday-style slasher flick. Vaughn plays serial killer The Butcher who swaps places with a high school student.
A group of teenagers accidentally killed a man, and a year later, they're paying the price in this parody of some of pop culture's most famous horror films.
Cult director Jim Jarmusch helmed this absurdist zombie feature with a jaw-droppping cast that includes everyone from Adam Driver to Steve Buscemi, Tilda Swinton, Rosie Perez, Austin Butler and Selena Gomez. Bill Murray slays as a droll, small-town police chief battling a horde of the undead.
Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn chew the scenery as bitter rivals competing for Bruce Willis in this cult classic. Hijinks ensue when both women drink a potion offering eternal youth—but it comes at a terrible price...
You gotta love a gleefully silly, super-bloody slasher flick about a guy in a pilgrim costume terrorizing Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Thanksgiving (yes, really). It's the holiday movie we never knew we needed.
A group of kids hunt for treasure, all in an effort to save their house from being demolished. The bad guys are on their tail the whole way, but the good guys win in the end. This heart-warming flick has its fair share of thrilling and funny moment and is a great choice for a family movie night.
After a series of mysterious deaths start happening in a small town, a group of friends finds themselves the next target of the masked killer in this "clever thriller."
Probably the best horror comedy of the decade, The Menu stars A-listers Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes. Sly, subversive and a whole bunch of fun, it concerns a couple who journey to a private island to dine at an ultra-exclusive eatery—though Chef has a few surprises in store for his clientele.
Blonde Buffy is a California girl to the max, but the one thing that's different about her could just save her school from creatures of the night. Some familiar faces fill the cast—Kristy Swanson (as Buffy), Donald Sutherland, Luke Perry, and Hilary Swank.
Set in a mansion during a hurricane, Bodies Bodies Bodies is part whodunit, part comedy, part scary movie and all wicked take-down of everything from the privileged class to technology addiction and youth culture. Scores extra points for eliminating Pete Davidson early.
This one is good for kids and adults alike! Scooby and the gang are invited to the appropriately-named Spooky Island to investigate a series of paranormal incidents—or so they thought.
There's music, there's murder, and there's a lot of campy costumes. This risqué movie shows what happens when an unsuspecting couple gets stranded at a creepy castle with some...interesting inhabitants.
Way more funny than fearsome, This is the End features an ensemble of reliably hilarious actors like Seth Rogan and James Franco doing their best to ride out a Biblical apocalypse destroying L.A. Watch out for riotous cameos from folks like Emma Watson, Rihanna and Channing Tatum.
Comedian Eddie Murphy is the main character in this spooky—and hilarious—story of a family that tries to rescue a historic mansion from its haunted existence.
Before he directed the LOTR movies, Peter Jackson guided The Frighteners, an entertaining horror comedy about a psychic con man (Michael J. Fox) who tangles with a malevolent ghost.
